I am in a class called ‘Drama in the London Theatre,’ taught by an adorable and eccentric grandmother called Mun Mun. She hails from India and has a deep love of plays and movies. She is one of those very unique people who can see and appreciate all sides of an argument. We spend our classes critiquing and discussing plays that we have all gone to see together such as War Horse, Clybourne Park, and the painfully bad Greenland.
This week, we were not seeing a play before class so Mun Mun decided that she was going to have the class take a field trip to Leicester Square and see her new favorite movie, 'Blue Valentine,’ and then cross the street to China Town and go to her favorite restaurant, ‘New World,’ for dim sum. Oh yeah, and after ‘class’ we were going to see The Heretic at the Royal Court with Juliet Stevenson.
Yes. My class rules… I think this is good Karma for having to sit through Mass Media with Professor Bohn.
